One day in 2017 I found myself hating my job and I knew I could do better. I was working for a cabinet maker at the time and had learned a lot but I also saw the flaws in their plans. I could do this, I thought, but maybe not exactly that. I’ve always loved handmade, made in America items. Now, I had a dream to make them myself. I started with American flags, as a very patriotic guy who never had the chance to serve the way I wished I could, I feel like the least I can do is honor the men and women who do or did. Once I had those down I worked on my cutting boards, another passion of mine is cooking. I love a well-seasoned steak, a juicy brisket or a well-grilled salmon. All of these require a cutting board that will hold up to daily wear. I have always hated the plastic ones and after receiving a beautiful wood board for my wedding I will never buy another plastic one again. My craft has continued to evolve to include a little blacksmithing and woodturning. I have loved every minute of creating my products and I can only hope that you are able to enjoy my pieces as much as I did.
